映画「ストリート・オブ・ファイヤー」は、アメリカ・バージニア州リッチモンドが舞台の西部劇風ロック映画。

ストリートギャングに拉致された女性ロック歌手エレンを元恋人トムが救い出した。再び燃え上がる恋の炎。

ギャングは街を襲撃するが、トムは一騎討ちに勝利。住民らも立ち上がり、街に平和が訪れた。

エレンはトムに復縁を申し出るが、ステージで歌う彼女の姿を見守りつつ、トムは街を去って行った。

映画での演奏について

映画の中では、ロック歌手役のエレン・エイム（ダイアン・レイン）が、架空のバンド「アタッカーズ（the Attackers）」のボーカルとして『Tonight Is What It Means to Be Young』を歌唱している。
